OUR INSPIRATION

Birch trees are a symbol of growth, renewal, stability, adaptability and have “eyes” that are said to serve as guides along arduous mountain journeys so nearby travelers can be seen safely to their destination; all characteristics that are critical to successfully navigating the Sports landscape and building sustained, collaborative partnerships.

Burch R. Riber, founded Riber Sports Marketing Group in 1983. His son, Sam, was introduced to sports marketing at a very early age and ultimately joined the family business, running it for 14 years, until it was sold in 2011 to an international agency holding company.

After 11 years inside the holding company model, Sam decided it was time to return to his roots and build another family centric agency that nimbly adapts to ever-changing market trends.

Burchtree is a tribute to Burch R. Riber, his shared philosophies and a symbol of our “team” commitment that is paramount to any successful partnership, and its growth.
